Relaxation Massage
Total relaxation awaits to restore and renew you, melting away stress and worry in a peaceful, gentle calming experience unlike any other. The bliss of luxurious, pampering smoothing touch is the foundation of this treatment.
Prenatal Massage
We have prenatal tables for utmost comfort for our pregnant mums, so they can enjoy being face-down and receive full and focused care. If our clients prefer to receive their massage in side-lying position our therapists are trained in proper bolstering and side-lying techniques.
Aromatherapy Warmth
Indulge your senses with this aromatic experience. Hot towels are used to warm tissue and allow special blends of essential oil to penetrate deep and stimulate the senses. Combined with a moderate depth massage you will leave feeling relaxed and renewed.
Hot Stone massage
This treatment is relaxing and powerful as the warm, basalt stones penetrate deeply into the muscles, melting away your tension and stress. This healing massage combines direct heat and massage techniques. Basalt stones, (which are smooth volcanic stones that maintain consistent heat for a long period of time), are warmed and then used to massage the body from head to toe. This combination of heat and massage provides a sensation of comfort and warmth while improving blood flow, releasing muscle tension, calming the nervous system and flushing away toxins.
This treatment is beneficial but not limited to the following conditions:
Myofascial Cupping
Cupping is the combination of massage movements and negative pressure with the use of a suction device on the skin. A cup is positioned at the area to be treated and, depending on the type of cups being used; a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin and underlying tissue into the cup. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood and lymphatic circulation systemically and to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue and support, draws stagnation, pathogenic factors and toxins out of the body and releases a myriad of pain causing factors. The intended suction can range from light to heavy. This, along with the movements performed and areas treated by the therapist will produce stimulating (toning) or sedating (draining) effects.
